The Banyan Park Summit to Surf fun run was held on this beautiful NI day (Sunday 16th March 2014).
It is one of the favourite events for those who live on Norfolk Island, and is enjoyed by those who holiday on Norfolk Island as well.
The weather was magic, the island green, the ocean a little wild, the sky blue, and the fun atmosphere amongst race-goers was contagious.
Starting at 9:30am, the race began at the Banyan Park Playcentre at Middlegate, and ended at the Kingston Gaol building with a sausage sizzle and refreshments.
This is the major fund raiser for the centre, and families, ‘friendly’ dogs, and some visitors were there to participate in the event.
Here are some photos from the event that we hope you enjoy.
